EVERYDAY EASY BROCCOLI BAKE
1 Can Cream of Broccoli Soup 1/2 Cup Milk 1 teas. Soy sauce Dash Pepper 1 20oz package frozen broccoli cuts 1 2.8oz can
french fried onions Combine soup, milk, soy sauce and pepper. In a 10 x 6 inch baking dish, layer 1/2 of the broccoli, 1/2
of the soup mixture and 1/2 can of teh onions. Top with remaining broccoli, and soup mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 mintues.
Top with remaining onions, bake 5 minutes more. Serves 6
2 STEP CHICKEN BROCCOLI DIVAN
1 lb. Fresh broccoli cut in spears 1 1/2 cup cooked cubed chicken or turkey 1 can Cream of Broccoli soup 1/3 cup milk 1/2
cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese 1 Tbls Melted Butter or Margarine 2 Tbls Dry Bread Crumbs In a 9" pie plate or shallow casserole,
arrange broccoli: top with chicken. Combine soup and milk: pour over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine butter and bread
crumbs: sprinkle over cheese. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 or until hot. Serves 4
BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE
1 1/2 Cup Water 2 Tbls Chopped Onion 1 Stick Margarine 1 box frozen broccoli 1 1/2 cups uncooked minute rice 1 can Cream
of Celery Soup 1 18oz jar of cheese wiz Bring to a boil water, onions, and margarine; add broccoli and cook 3 mintues. Add
rice: bring back to boil. Remove from heat and let stand 9 minutes. Put in casserole dish with soup and cheese wiz. Bake at
350 degrees for 45 minutes.
8 Green Peppers sliced length wise and cleaned 1 stick margarine 1 chopped onion 1 clove garlic 1 stalk celery finely chopped
3 lbs ground beef 1 1/2 cup cooked rice 1 egg 1 1/2 teas salt 1/2 teas peper 1 quart tomatoe juice Slowly melt margarine in
heavy skillet. Add onion, garlic and celery; saute and set aside Mix together ground beef, rice, egg, salt, pepper; add margarine
mixture Fill pepper halfs with mixture, put in large baking pan. pour tomatoe juice over them. If any meat mixture is left
over shape into balls and place on top of pepers. Cover and bake at 335 degrees for 2 hours. 15 minutes before serving, pour
tomatoe sauce off peppers and back uncovered. Serves 4
GOLDEN HAM PIE BISCUITS:
1 cup sifted flour 1 1/2 teas Baking powder 1/2 teas salt 2 1/2 Tbls Shortening 3/4 cup Grated Sharp Cheese 1 Pimento (chopped)
1/3 cup milk FILLING: 3 Tbls Chopped Onion 1/4 cup Chopped green pepper 1/4 Cup Fat 6 Tbls Flour 2 Cups Milk 1 Can Cream of
chicken soup 2 Cups Cooked Ham 1 Tbls Lemon Juice FILLING: Saute onion and green pepper in fat. Remove from heat and gradually
stir in flour, milk and chicken soup. Stir in ham and lemon juice. Pour into greased baking dish. Place in 450 degree oven
to heat while making biscuits. BISCUITS: Mix ingredients together, roll out on floured surface. Cut with round cookie cutter.
Place on top of HEATED ham mixture. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
2 or more Whole Chicken Breast 1 Cup Cooked Rice 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup 2 Tbls Minced Onion 2 Tbls Lemon Juice 3/4
Cup Mayonnaise (DO NOT USE MIRACLE WHIP) TOPPING: 1/2 cup corn flakes 1/2 cup Silvered almonds 1/2 cup melted margarine Cook
chicken and cut in to pieces. Combine all ingredients except topping. Refrigerate overnight in baking dish. Pour melted Butter
over chicken, Combine corn flakes and almonds. Sprinkle over chicken. Bake 1 hour in preheated 300 degree oven.
CHICKEN ALA KING
1 cup Cooked Chicken (cut into pieces) 1/2 Cup peas 1/2 cup Canned sliced mushrooms (drained) 1 Tbls chopped fine green
peppers (not hot) 1 Tbls chopped fine red peppers (not hot) 1/8 teas Poultry seasoning 1/8 teas Salt 1/8 teas pepper 1/2 cup
cooked rice Mix all ingredients except rice and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over rice. Makes 1 serving.
3 lb ground beef 1 can diced tomatoes 3 pkg taco seasoning 1 1/2 cup cooked rice 1/2 cup mild taco sauce 1 16oz can refried
beans 2 pkg shredded taco cheese 1 lg bag nacho cheese doritos 1 cup water Brown ground beef; drain fat. Stir in seasoning,
tomatoes, taco sauce, beans and water. Simmer for 10 minutes, stir in rice and set aside. Crush doritos and spread in bottom
of baking dish to make a crust. Pour meat mixture over top, sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is completely
melt and just starting to turn light brown. Remove from oven and serve with fresh chopped lettuce and fresh diced tomatoes.
Sour cream and diced fresh green onions can be used on top of it too
